About GMU 10
Colorado Game Management Unit 10 sits in the Far Northwest Colorado, spanning Moffat county near Rangely, Dinosaur, Craig. The terrain runs from 6,000 – 9,000 ft, with the primary big game being Rocky Mountain Elk, Mule Deer.
Rolling hills, mesas, rock outcrops and sagebrush with minimal cover and easy travel; more mountainous in the north around Blue and Moosehead Mountains.
